At least I think that's what it might be.
I'm 44 and had last child nearly four years ago. Since then periods dead regular if heavy, but getting migraines more and more often, around period time. Before Christmas had several that knocked me out for almost two weeks.
Sumatriptan deals with the pain, but to prevent them altogether GP has prescribed propanolol (beta blockers) that totally zonked me out, and now amitrityline that I'm starting on today.
Any advice please??!!! Have given up coffee sugar etc (how hard was that).
But can anyone recommend any hormonal related treatment, or report on how amitriptyline was for them?
