womb lining 7mm post meno

I?m 4 yrs postmeno. I went for a routine scan yesterday (because I want to take Vagifem again) and my womb lining was measured at 7mm, should be under 5mm.

Last March I had a bled and scan showed a lining thickness of 10mm, I had a hysteroscopy and D&C, the result was benign and no follow-up.

I have made an appointment with my GP for next week and I?m assuming I will be referred back to the hospital? What do you think will happen?

Has anyone had the same persistent thickening, what does it mean?! help!

You may have another hysteroscopy?

There are some women who do have a condition called endometrial hyperplasia- which means a thickened lining of the uterus.

You should still be able to use Vagifem, but you may need to take a progestin every few months to give you a bleed to protect the lining from getting too thick.
