start of menopause?

my af is 9 days late. i have done a test but it is negative. is it possible that i am strting the menopause. i am 30 btw

VERY unlikely. Much too young. More likely a whole host of other reasons.

It is quite possible to miss a period or have 1 that's 2 weeks late for all sorts of reasons.

Obviously see your GP if it doesn't come back at all or keeps happening.

Have you always been regular?

Even if you have sometimes illness or weight loss or lack of sleep can stop your periods.

My sister has had one or two late or missed periods because of these issues and she has always been regular otherwise.

Also 9 days might be a false negative.

Good luck I agree with Cabbageroses you ought to see the doctor if it doesn't reassert itself.

thanks cabbageroses i know its young but i was just worried as its not normally like this and i am ttc dc3 so it would be horrible if it was.

thanks alicatte yes have always been regular. im hoping it is false negative but i just wanted some opinions. i will see the doctor soon if no period or no positive test
