Cold??

I'm just about through the menopause, prematurely at 39. I still get an occasional period, about every 6-7 months but all the other symptoms (including all the hormone based moodiness I had) are calming down bigtime and it is 5 months since my last period (which was a killer tbh but no sign of ovulation, no sign of another one as yet).

I am freezing! After 4 years of hot flushes, sweating all over the place, copious deoderant etc, I now have cold hands, arms, feet, lower legs, face and the rest of my body doesn't feel too warm. It is probably just in comparison to the heat of the last few years but I am shivering and putting jumpers on! I have taken my own temp and I'm not ill, feeling cold cos I am hot. The last 3 weeks have been a tights and leggings and jeans .... vest and t-shirt and blouse and jumper etc fest.

Anyone else experience COLD once the hot flushes died down?

Well - it has been really cold the last 3 weeks so it might just be that. My mum is currently walking around in a short sleeved t shirt and short sleeved jacket Shock. She said feeling the cold is a young woman's thing and it is one of the positives of the menopause not to feel cold all the time. Bizarre!
