Hi

I'm 33 yr old and for the last few nights I've been waking in the middle of the night feeling very hot and bothered. I've also had severe mood swings and feelings of aggression (towards DH) which a normally well controlled by Yasmin.

Now this may well be because it's been a bit muggy but it's got me thinking about the peri menopause and realising that I don't know much about what I've got in store at all.

I'd really appreciate it if anyone could recommend me a good thick book about the menopause, ideally one that's not dumbed down but not like a medical text book either IYSWIM. Does such a thing exist?

Just noticed I put I'm 33 when I'm actually 32 until Novm Shock

Is memory loss a sign too?

that book is the one I was recommended. It is written by my gynacologist.

My mum is currently reading Is it me or is it hot in here? by Jenni Murray, and says it's very good.

I have that too but it's a bit dated now and JM is a writer, not a dr.

A very comprehensive one is by Dr Christine Northrupp.
