Who is up for an evening meet-up?
No children allowed

There is a lovely Italian restaurant in Barnet High Street called Grittz. It does great food and is reasonably priced.

Thursday 4th August 8:00pm.

I'm also arranging a daytime (with kids) meet up so check that thread too.

Tabs, you should be able to park in the high street at that time of night. It is pay & display durng the day, but at night it is a free for all ! If you can't there are a couple of side streets off the high street just past the restaurant.

Have booked the table for 10 people at 8pm. Apparently they have another party of 10 on thursday so make sure if you get there first you ask for "Kayleighs" table.

Unless the other party of 10 is a group of hunky young firemen in uniform, then I might forget that it's Kayleigh's table I'm supposed to be on .

Kayleigh · 03/08/2005 07:57

Hmmm it's a tough one isn't it - hunky fireman or group of nattering women - oooh I'm torn (as Natalie Imbruglia would say)

Tabs, sounds like we're going to get on just fine

helllloooooooo , sorry for my absence, think I took on a contract thats been a bit maaaaaad , especially with a nearly 2 year old in tow.

anywhoooo , is the restaurant on the bit near the cinema or up the top near the college? Can I pick anyone up on the way ?

OOOH its soooo nice to have a night out to look forward to.

Kayleigh · 03/08/2005 14:42

restaurant is on main high street, so past the cinema and college and fork to right. Is 3/4 way down on left hand side. Just past Spires.

Won't need picking up as hopefully it's going to be dry and daisydoolittle and I are going to walk up there !!! Might need a lift home though !

Hi Girls, I hope you have a lovely time. I have a Mehendi/Henna night to go to tonight, one of my friends is getting married on Sat. She's getting all the henna on her hands and arms etc. Should be fun..

But I didn't realise it was going to clash with the next MN meetup! Oh well.. the Sept or Oct one for sure as I want a night out with you girls before baby makes it's appearance at the end of Oct. Can't believe I haven't seen you since I've been pg!! Have fun!

  • I did it again! I am so sorry, I got the dates mixed up and have only just found this thread again. I hope everyone had a lovely time.

I have messed up so many of these meet ups that from now on, I am not going to say that I can come - if I manage to get my act together, I will just turn up. In my defence, I am getting old...

anorak · 08/08/2005 16:40

Glad nothing's wrong, anyway, sis.

Perhaps if you gave one of us your email we could remind you next time?

sis · 08/08/2005 16:41

Anorak, can I CAT you with my e-mail?

anorak · 08/08/2005 16:42

Yes of course you can!
