OP posts:
monkeytrousers · 11/07/2005 13:01

OP posts:
spidermama · 17/07/2005 09:50

So that would be the North East of England then?

I grew up in Aberdeen and always thought I was from the North East until I moved down here.

monkeytrousers · 17/07/2005 10:04

Aberdeen! Pffft!

Hey Spidermama, you gonna be watching 'Actors' this week? I'm expecting some really cringe inducing moments as the memories flash back!

Still haven't gotten round to making those baked beans yet

Going to a bit of a stary party tonight, though only for an hour as baby coming with us. Am preparing to be pitied!

OP posts:
monkeytrousers · 17/07/2005 10:07

Big time!!

OP posts:
spidermama · 17/07/2005 10:11

Good luck at party. I took my 14 day old to the starriest party in the world and needless to say she ruined it.

It was a Corrie leaving party and the Beckhams were there and everything. It was in a hotel and I was staying in a room upstairs. The longest I got to stay downstairs was about 15 minutes.

I'll never see the like again. [sigh!]

ScrewballMuppet · 17/07/2005 10:19

ooh stary party sounds very glam....the parties I go to nowadays are toddlers and is it just me or are there alot of childrens parties in summer.

Have a lovely time at the party!

spidermama · 17/07/2005 10:42

I remember at drama school monkeytrousers .... 'Be the wind. Free yourselves! I don't mean something blowing in the wind, I want you to BE the very wind itself. In front of everyone. All your friends. Yes'.

monkeytrousers · 17/07/2005 10:53

Yes, someone I know had 'be a vagina'

He was a bloke..

OP posts:
spidermama · 17/07/2005 10:55

Ah! The ritual humiliation that is drama school.

monkeytrousers · 17/07/2005 10:57

Oh, thanks by the way!

I'm quite looking forward to it, not for the meeting people (I always put my foot in it when I'm nervous!) but for the fact that I'm wearing a skirt. There'll be gasps! (probably at my shapeless ankles but there you go.)

OP posts:
wowy · 18/07/2005 08:35

yup. ashingtons where the charltons come from. i dont come on here very often, no time now. i have an eight month son, he's called nye. i'm 26 and have been married to a postie for a year and a half.

monkeytrousers · 04/08/2005 12:57

Hey Wowy,

How you doing? I am 35 and have a nine month old called William. Not married but living with Steve and going back to uni in september after taking a year off. Re-training to do..I don't really know yet but was an actor before so anything would be better!

Did you get to any of the Newcastle meet ups earlier on in the year?
