Lunch in the city - Thursday 28th July

Let's get together ............

Next city lunch will be at Pizza Pomodoro - very close to Liverpool St Station, 5 minutes walk from Moorgate. Date - Thursday 28th July at 12:30.

Anybody welcome, just post here to confirm.

And as a family of generally-non-drinking folks, we always have spare wine. I might even have something bubbly, I haven't checked the stash lately. (DH and I cannot get through a whole bottle of wine between us in an evening. Never could.)

I always carry my wine bottle in a brown paper bag.
Am pretty sure no-one is too bothered about the booze aspect as I don't recall anyone ordering anything stronger than 7-up at our restaurant lunches. It's purely a weather thing. If it's a nice day it would definitely be nicer to sit outside. If it's raining champagne served by a semi-naked Brad Pitt wouldn't tempt me to sit in the middle of Finsbury Square for lunch

Oh Kayleigh, after making a thing about it!! I've gone back to work, and that is one of the days earmarked for me to toddle on in... We are desperate for the cash now so DP would not be impressed!!! The chances are next month if you do one though?? So sorry. Have you got your phone sorted yet?

Hi Flossam, maybe nect time ! Yes I got my phone sorted thanks. Found a local shop that unlocked it for £10. Then decided I didn't like the phone as much as my old one so dh has got it

I have no idea if I'll make it at the moment.

I think DS1 would enjoy Pizza Pommodoro, he likes the social.

The problem right now is, I am really really really really tired. And if I don't get a good night's sleep tonight, I will not be safe to be on a bike tomorrow. (I don't really take buses or tubes, not because of 7/7, I hated them already.)

So I will be able to say, tomorrow morning.

Have booked a table for 8 at 12:30 but will adjust in morning if neccessary.

We had a good sleep (finally!). DS2 is currently asleep in the front garden.

I think we'll be fine to bike in, so will see you all at 12:30? at Pizza Pomodoro.
