Meet-ups

When meeting up take sensible precautions. Meet in a public place and let others know where you are going.

So shall we try again for a Kent meet up?

Hello Cadders how was the holiday? My msn is playing up.

Aero · 04/07/2005 22:37

Dh knows Teynham very well - he fell asleep on the train while heavily under the influence and I had to go an collect him in the wee small hours! Might get to this one - depends when and where. Am watching for developments though.

Hello!

Ok, my name is Carina, I am married with a 2 1/2 year old son, Ben. I have been married for 3 1/2 years approx (Ben was a honeymoon baby).

I work part-time on a monday, tuesday and wednesday and also have an extra job on the side to earn extra cash!!

So, what do you all do? How many children do you have and what ages? Hobbies etc! Tell me!!!!

Carina

Forgot to say, Cadbury, Teynham is inbetween Sittingbourne and Faversham - blink and you'll miss it!

Did you all know that there is a soft play area in Faversham?

Carina

singleteenagemum · 06/07/2005 21:07

hey everyone,
sorry in trouble at work for being on here in work hours, so am confined to home...(it;s just so addictive)

Teynham is very near on the sunny old island.

CJayne - I'm 18 and am 29weeks tomorrow, due on 21st Septemeber, for those still working in normal time!!

How is everyone btw? We any closer to a date?

Fio2 · 08/07/2005 07:56

are we doing anything then

cadbury · 08/07/2005 08:43

Yup. Just give me a couple of hours to put my thinking head on and I'll start looking at dates.

What was the concensus on Faversham?

CJayne · 11/07/2005 11:39

Fine by me. There's one of those soft play areas in Faversham if anyone would prefer there to Spoons, though the soft play don't offer alcohol dammit!

Carina

singleteenagemum · 15/07/2005 11:10

Sorry everyone not had internet access at home or work for a while.

How is everyone?

What's the plan for meeting then?

jibberjabber · 15/07/2005 14:45

Hi

Up for meeting. Sounds like a few of you know each other already. I've not met up with anybody yet as my DS is a bit of a handful and has quite an impressive set of lungs on him

Carina I am just up the road from you.

cadbury · 17/07/2005 19:59

well. a date then. I'd better dig out my calendar. Shall we say a Friday? Does that suit everyone?
I don't mind whether its the weatherspoons or the soft play area as long as it's easy to get to the soft play thing from the station. Any idea. We may have to brek it to Fio2 very gently if alcohol won't be involved though - there would have to be a quantity of compensatory chocolate in it's place.

if its the soft play area no-one will actually see me as I wont be able to sit down

cadbury · 18/07/2005 08:35

You enjoy a good play in those places then do you Fio?

OP posts:
turquoise · 18/07/2005 09:09

Lol. The soft play place is a pretty long walk from the station, at least 15 minutes or more.

I'm not sure my kids are allowed in the soft play area - too old?

cadbury · 18/07/2005 09:25

Well, I'm sure if we bring enough toys etc, we can keep the kids happy at the pub.

OP posts:
singleteenagemum · 18/07/2005 09:32

Ok, so have we decided where yet? don;t make it anywhere to smokey though, am carrying a precious little one! fraid it's only orange juice for me in spoons,

If anyone needs a lift from the staion i'll be coming by car with plenty of space

cadbury · 18/07/2005 09:35

The whole eating area is non-smoking and there is a garden too. Its isn't very far from the station to the pub.
Will get my diary out

OP posts:
Fio2 · 18/07/2005 09:54
