Belmonte and Englishbeauty have posted on another thread about meeting up, what about if we met up in Newport centre, as there seems to be a few mnetters that live in Newport. Have picked up that there is a new mnetter in Caerleon.

Shall we try and arrange a day and time and location ???? Who is going to make a suggestion ?? I live close to civic centre in Newport. Have a little one nearly 11 months old.

I live in Beechwood, have one son 23 months, with another due in mid October. Still working full time but can easily take the odd hour or so off to meet up somewhere during the week. Otherwise I can do weekends. From October onwards I will be on maternity leave so loads of spare time except for looking after 2 kids.......

there is one, can't think of the name at the mo buts its new and open for mums and kiddies. its open on a tues. its in newport town. not been there but have been told about it!

I am the new Mums netter (new? for about three years on and off, but lived in Somerset before!) in caerleon. Count me in , Newport absolutely fine by me!

Hi we are trying to make a meetup at Tredegar House Park, at 10am this Friday, Baby Metro cafe was only open on Tuesdays and this wasn't convenient for some mums to make this week,as they were busy Tuesday.

Friday 29th July at Tredegar House Park, CAT me or englishbeauty for more details.

If the weather is bad on Friday morning, then meeting up at the Park in Tredegar House, might not be such a good idea. Only other idea is to postpone the meet up to the Tuesday and say that we would all meet up at Newport - Metro Centre in the Baby Cafe at 10am instead.

If the weather is okay on Friday,then brill we will all meet up as planned, but looking at the forecast it is planned for rain for the next few days. If not shall we say that we will rearrange to next Tuesday at 10am at the Metro Centre. Any other ideas ???

11am on the Tuesday would be fine if the weather is bad, will keep an eye on the forecast to check for Friday. If it is fine, we shall all meet up in the carpark at Tredegar House Park, if bad shall we say that we will rearrange for Tuesday at Metro Centre in Baby Cafe between 10.30 ish - 11ish.

Englishbeauty mentioned she can't meet up next week, suggested that even it is raining that we all meet up this Friday at 10am in Newport Tredegar House Car park and go on from there, perhaps anyone can suggest where we could go on from ?

Spoke to englishbeauty today, when we all meet up can we make sure that we meet up in the Tredegar Park Car Park, not the carpark near the House where you have to pay to go in but the other car park near the swings, if you need directions then CAT either englishbeauty or myself.

Tomorrow at 10am even if weather is bad.

I am deffo coming as long as is dry, as DH needs to whip the car off to buy stock for work whilst we are there, therefore I wouldn't be able to go onto another venue if you all decided to.

So, where is the free car park? have been past on the way to hobbycraft but not in

It is not the Tredegar House car park as we will get charged by the little man on the toll booth, they charge in the summer time.

The park that englishbeauty mentioned is the one opposite the Patent and Stats office, if you get off a J28 and go immediately left, past Tredegar House on your right, carry along the dual carriageway to Newport centre, A48, you will approach a roundabout, where if you carry on it leads to Cardiff Road - Tesco Extra, on the right is Duffryn estate and Stats office and Patent Office.
Take the left turn into the gates there is a park and a little keepers cottage I think, turn into the car park and meet us there. We will go on from there if it is wet.

See you tomorrow at 10am
