Brighton August meet up!

Ok, July didn't work, so any takers for an August meet up?

Fridays are better for me tbh, sundays would be hard to arrange i think

Can't do that weekend of 12th/13th/14th but will dib out anyway if plan is clubbing - am planning to be whale-sized by then! From the thread it looks like there may be a potential for 2 meets - one early August for dancin and one later August for weekend lunchtime - DHW if you're already pulling your hair out organising one then I don't mind organising the more leisurely one (as long as you come to both!), would really like to meet-up with some of you before dd/ds arrives in September!

i assumed it was meet in the day for lunch then maybe go out in the evening afterwards

Well I can't do Friday evenings or Saturdays (except 20th August) during the summer at all due to my commitments - Sunday lunch has worked several times in the past but don't take me into account

OK, I will trawl through all the dates that you lot can and can't do and see if i can make sense of it and will post tomorrow with some options!

We've all been there DHW, why d'you think I suggested you might like to give it a go

One time when Custy was organising one she actually completely gave up in despair and then came back a few weeks later and organised a brilliant one (curry if I remember correctly)

I organised one at the Grand which was so scary that only 4 people came

Please tell me if you can do this date. I think as elasticated said, there will have to be another meet up end of August....elasticated, very happy for you to try and organise this one! (Be warned it is henious and I am doing really badly so far!)

5th is good for me . Will be working til 2 in Hove so I'll be able to come out and play straight from there, will i be alone tho'?!

I SERIOUSLY abused husband's card, but sadly left mine at home...funny that eh.

we could always do afternoon on the 5th if it's preferred
