Anyone fance a few days away? Id like to get away for a short break 1 or 2 nights. Somewhere either very relaxing or lots of excitement. Just a break away will do me the world of good.

Any1 like to join me?
Any suggestions where?

if you do make it the bank hol weekend and stay either fri/sat or sat/sun i;ll come down on the fri or the sun !

For any of those of you who drive I can recommend the Wood Norton conference centre which is near Evesham? Jampots am I right in thinking thats nice and near? Rooms for £46.50, good basic accomodation and nice and quiet! We were there last weekend and the staff were wonderful.

Would like to come too really, but am being a wimp about the idea of leaving DS! Will see what dates you come up with, and duck back in again if I'm feeling brave if thats ok? I'm going back to work soon so might really need a break IYSWIM! I don't think DP is going to be too inspirational with looking after DS on his days off.

Oh yes Jampots I realise that!! The hotel also offers a minibus service for cheaper than local taxi's, although not sure they operate in the sort of hours you girls are going to be wanting to return home to your beds!

Jampots I have been known to walk long distances, but not that far yet! Looks lovely Jampots. That is nicer than mine, think along the lines of the travelodge with better customer service and nicer food for the wood norton and you won't be dissapointed!

Mars - great - maybe we can get the train up together? I work full-time so weekends are best for me, but I could do with a break so might book a couple of days off if we all decide to go during the week...............

ooh yes. Good plan golden. 2 complete strangers meeting at a train station to travel and meet more complete strangers lol . No sarcasm intended, I can just imagine what my friends will say.

louise it depends on my treatment as at the moment nothing can be planned ahead as i dont know when my next cycle would start for treatment

but i am so im keeping an eye out on this thread and if the date is fine by me, i may gate crash if no one minds
