right so I have noticed there are a fair few of us, any one fancy a meet up before the end of the holidays?

I was perfectly calm to start with because

  • he was wearing a wristband with mine and my brother's mobile numbers on *he is ridiculously sensible *we had already talked about what to do if he got lost *he had got lost walking from the toilets to the blanket which was a distance of about 100yds

when I got a phonecall to say someone had found him, went to where they said only to find he wasn't there, then I started screaming! Turned out there were 2 gates near the CEFAS building, one on main road level and one on the prom. He was at the one I wasn't, as was sod's law really!

Of course it blew my reasons for not worrying right out of the window. He had not been sensible or followed previously given instructions to find a hi-viz wearing steward. He had walked past them all until someone saw him crying and asked if he was lost. He was not in the 100yd gap where he was lost, he had walked half a mile in the opposite direction, from seconds away from blanket to back past the toilets and kept going . And the stewards were from various organisations with no prior meetings to discuss procedures and no knowledge of where other gates were

Next year he's going on a lead

DD and I had lots of fun today - she's been talking about your DD since we left - even had to call Daddy and tell him about our new friends

YAY! - We had a good time too, My DD has been talking non stop about your DD as well. They played nice together didnt they... ( thank god no screaming tantrums from either of them.... phew!! LOL)

As you know, im mostly free all the time seeing as i dont know many people... so whenever you want to do something let me know, even it is becuse its a sunday and your bored I dont mind driving up to you.. not fair for you to come to me all the time.

I can do any day next week apart from the 27th.... can we make it another day? ive already prewarned work ill be booking a day pff so any other day is no problem.... how about the friday? makes for a long weekend then.. esp with the bank holiday monday?

cool beans, I shall get find my diary (think it's in the car ) and have a think about when, DP is back on the 29th - but I am free all the time till then too.

It's so lovely to not have any work to do tonight - bliss, however my house needs a good sort out. Just sat in DD's room and realised how many toys / clothes she has managed to relocate around the house and are no longer where they are meant to be.

DD said, very cutely when we were driving home that you had really pretty hair - and that she likes Mummy's new friend.

Honestly, thank you so much for meeting up with us. Was so nice to just have a natter with someone and for the chilren to be able to play.

Like i said whenever is fine. I normally finish work at about 2.30pm. But am free after then or at weekends. But dont worry, i totally appreciate that your DP is back, and you have a life too...

Enjoy your night with no essays... tidying up can wait till tomorrow i think.... you def deserve a night chilling out in front of the TV.

pfffft so whens this meet up going to happen? Im going to be staying with my sister and her family, probably tomorrow / wednesday. Don't know how long for, depends on how my little nephew needs treatment

hey all

POTC can we set it for the Friday the 28th? as shoptilidrop can't do the 27th and it would be a shame if she didnt meet more people (not that I didnt love spending time with you on Monday )

Plus tomorrow im heading to see my sister and BIL, as they have a new DS and I don't know how long they want me to stay?

Shoptilidrop I may not be able to get on here so would you mind texting me and letting me know when / where etc this meet up is taking place?
