Brighton - Coffee in the park?

A while ago there was some discussion about meeting in Preston Park when the weather gets better. Well (apart from at this moment actually) it seems better, so wondered if anyone fancied going for it, next week say?

hello all
can't make coffe in park on a school day as I'm still working (but starting to count down the weeks now, beginning to realise what people mean when they say that i won't care about work any more once the gnipper arrives!) but thought I'd say hello anyway - hope you have a good meet and everyon'e OK. Desperate Housewife - a repeat of a weekend lunchtime meet would be fantastic, glad to hear you had a good holiday.

where do I park at preston park?

There is a road that runs paralell to preston road that you can park on starlover

Not sure which way you coming from starlover, but you can either along preston road and turn into the park on the corner, or you can come up preston road and turn into the park just before preston park avenue. Hope to see you all there. Whats a good time?

FGS, I am annoying myself now, I am being hopeless! I meant come up Preston Drove and turn into park before Preston Park Avenue. Sorry

I will be coming from the north! is preston road the one that runs alongside the park... with the speed cameras?

Hi Starlover. yes, preston road is the one with speed cameras on, and yes you can turn in where that pedestrian crossing is. Alternatively before you reach the park you can turn left at teh traffic lights up preston drove which runs along the north side of the park, and turn into the park on teh right.
