Room for one more? I'm working in the Aberdeen area Thursday and Friday this week.

Of course. I will amend the reservation. Will be great to meet another Aberdeen worker. It was touch and go fo me earlier. I alsmost headed back to London for Thursday and Friday. But, I'm staying now and oh so very much looking forward to my night out with all my fab new friends.

If anyone is lurking, don't be shy. Just speak up and then show up. The more the merrier.

I am being very miserly with my pennies to make t out on thursday night I really don't want to miss it.
Tight week with rent just being paid anyway (private rent in this city kills me) also bought heaps of last minute wedding bits this week so even if I have salad i'm coming

I am going to be a right pest after saying I def would be there that I may not make it for the meal but could possibly turn up a bit later for a glass of wine. Having a few problems sorting out all the dc's tomorrow.

I also hate to do this, but DD is on anti biotics and now DS2 is being so clingy/grumpy that I won't be able to make it tomorrow. I think he must be also coming down with something. I have been waiting till the last minute to see if they improve, but it doesn't look that way.

Oh no 2 of us now I really want to go out but have to get dss home and my 2 will be in bed by then so dp couldn't take hime home himself.

Like I said I might be able to come out after the meal for a bit is not the word for it I was soooo excited about it. Only been out a couple of times since I got here in April never get out otherwise no sitters or nobody to go with.

Yes, of course I'm happy to meet another night. But, I'm not sure what my schedule is for the next couple of weeks. Might be back in London.

yes, I am still coming, been looking forward to it... will try to make it for as close to 7 as possible but may be a tiny bit late as dp has decided that he is going out too so will need to co-ordinate bedtime.

I live in a Western burb of London. I am American. I have two kids -- one of whom is not thrilled with me for missing sports day tomorrow. But, hey ho, that's the way it goes if she wants me to buy her some food to eat. My DS is pretty easy going and doesn't hold these things against me.

Had nightmare of a week - I went down to London on Monday (disrupted because of thunderstorms so I left house at 2 and didn't get to London hotel until 10.00 that night.)

Then was supposed to get the 8.20 flight back up on Tuesday night. It was delayed and delayed until 11.00, when they then told us it would be a flight to Glasgow followed by a three and a half hour coach journey up to Aberdeen. I got home at 5.15 in the morning!!

In short, I need a drink tonight!
