Oh City Gals... I think it's time we had a night out...

You know who you are, but off the top of my head:

LegalAlien
Jura
Squiffy
Kewcumber
Page62
BecauseImWorthIt
MrsShadenFruende

And anyone else I have neglected to mention. If your name is not here and you want to join us, by all means add your name to the list in the usual copy and paste fashion and show up. Everyone is welcome.

So, I'm thinking Patara in South Ken because it's accessible to Waterloo, Victoria, tube, etc. But, if you bear the idea of Thai food, feel free to suggest somewhere else.

For dates, I'm thinking any Saturday in July apart from July 4th.

So, put your name down on dates you can make:

11 July
Athene Noctua

18 July
Athene Noctua

25 July
Athene Noctua

Thanks for cating me, Legal. I'll be there, but not sure what time I'll arrive - may just pop in for a drink and to meet everyone, so please go ahead ordering etc if I'm late.

legalalien · 15/08/2009 18:53

right. off to station. if anything goes horribly wrong can someone CAT me - it goes to the blackberry that I'll have with me.....

KiwiKat · 16/08/2009 12:50

Just wanted to thank you all for a really lovely evening. Apart from the initial relief that you weren't all middle aged male truck drivers masquerading on this forum as mums, highlights for me were the ogling Italians, the village ladies planning to snare the hot Swedish manny, and enjoying the company of some really lovely, funny women. Can't wait for the next one!

AtheneNoctua · 16/08/2009 15:26

Was lovely to see eveyone.

Shall we pick a date for another one, say Octoberish?

i will definitely be up for it (despite my DS waking me up at 5am this morning to check I had delivered on my promise to come home before he woke up...). Fridays or Saturdays best for me. Would a Saturday lunchtime be too decadent / un family friendly?

AtheneNoctua · 16/08/2009 22:18

I could do lunchtime if kids are included. But, otherwise I'd have to say yes it encroaches on promised quality time with my kiddies.

KiwiKat · 17/08/2009 14:04

I have the perfect answer - we all bring our kids, and Squiffy brings her MANNY!

AtheneNoctua · 17/08/2009 14:11

Oh fantastic idea. But who will look after the kids while we are playing with the manny?

OP posts:
legalalien · 17/08/2009 20:22

our DHs who will be designated drivers, of course. (wonders whether she can dress it up as a cricket match or networking opportunity or something)

AtheneNoctua · 17/08/2009 23:08

Ah, so you want to go get pissed in the middle of the day. I think I'll retract the bit about bringing kids. This inlaw thing is really getting to you.

OP posts:
KiwiKat · 20/08/2009 23:01

What sort of date were you thinking? (Need to check that the manny is free ...)
