Did we say where we were meeting today???? I will probably be at the main playground.

MrsBigD · 20/06/2005 16:22

Oh boy I totally forgot the time today!!!

Discovered a huge patch of mold behind dd's bed, which might explain her coughing...

so rearranged furniture, washed the walls and the carpet whilst trying not to gag... and trying to keep dd and ds away from it all... et voila it's already 1621!

What a fun way to spend the time!

OP posts:
yingers74 · 21/06/2005 14:12

mrs - hope all is sorted with carpet and walls, not exactly an easy job in this weather either!

slink - got home from the park and was totally knackered, can't believe the sun knocked both of us out so much. We both just lay on the floor watching wimbledon. Recovered enough after half an hour to get dd's dinner!

Slink · 21/06/2005 18:31

Sorry Mrs your message had not come up when i was sending mine. Hope alls good though now with you.

Yingers well dd was a .......... she did not go to bed till 9pm and by then i was looking to call social services..

Slink · 23/06/2005 18:34

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Please let it happen after 3pm as i am on my dd's school trip to the zoo.

Yingers never mind. What about next Monday??? any takers???

MrsBigD · 24/06/2005 19:25

I will try for Monday, can't quite remember though whether I promised a mum at nursery to go swimming with her... oh my poor muddled brain. This work think is taking its toll!

Slink did the weather hold out for you? I got caught in the rain 1/2 way to the tube after leaving work. Good thing I wasn't wearing a white t-shirt!!! There were some sights around

OP posts:
yingers74 · 24/06/2005 22:27

can't do monday as dd has a play date with a neighbour!

was very happy to feel the cool breeze today, although not so happy that rain stopped play at wimbledon. i just love tennis!!!

Slink · 27/06/2005 19:33

Hi to all had a great day at the zoo....... even though there are no animals but nice day and the kids got to run around like monkeys.

Sorry about today vsitors turned up at 1.30 from Croydon

Can't do next Monday either.

Mrs poor you GO SICK!!!!!!!!!

unicorn · 27/06/2005 19:38

Hi there Ealingites!

How are you all enjoying the sun?
Of all the days to go to Legoland, we (me and ds+ playgroup)went on Friday and got drenched- torrential downpours - fun! (not)

So, the summer holidays are rapidly approaching and I am going to need lots of adults to help me remain? (v.debatable) sane....

I will be free virtually all of the hols (last wk away)so hope to meet up with the sprogs then (Lammas/Walpole/Gunnersbury?)

yingers74 · 28/06/2005 09:51

am pretty free during the hols too especially as nearly all the play groups close down!

Slink - what happened to the animals?

unicorn - nice to hear from you.

Slink · 28/06/2005 12:25

Unicorn hi how are you??????

Yingers most of the main attractions have been moved to Whipsnade, elephants bears penguins, otters tigers leopards it's more educational now, which is good but children at 3-4 don't sit still.

Nanou1 · 28/06/2005 12:26

hello ladies! still alive but only just. i am cursed! lots of bits of problems to deal with over the last few weeks and on top of that (when one starts thinking it's about time one gets some luck...)i was told last week that i am made redundant and my last day is today... so i have as from tonight plenty of time on my hands to meet with you - finally. i shall check the web from an internet cafe tomorrow am. can't stay long but hope all is ok with you all. x and sorry i have not been in touch recently. x

yingers74 · 28/06/2005 14:47

nanou - that is terrible, I hope they are paying you one months notice as well as redundancy. Hope u are ok.

Am quite free to meet up during the summer hols, so let me know. Also ealing135 will be doing quite a few activities, are any of you members?

Slink - agree about the zoo, it is good for the animals but will definitely be harder to keep the young ones entertained there without the bigger animals.

Slink · 28/06/2005 16:14

Ok well ladies we better get some dates together, when is the ealing fair jazz thing in warpole park????. I am off to Notting Hill carnival ages away though anyone up for it???

Nnauo poor you but hey the plus is you meet up with us,

MrsBigD · 28/06/2005 21:09

Nanou... poor you! Did you see it coming at all?

I've got the dates for the Jazz festival somewhere I'll go digging and see where I've hid it...

Nanou1 · 29/06/2005 16:39

Hi all. Thanks so much for messages of support. am ok. got 2 weeks pay; no contract... changed dd to 2 days a week at creche as from next week; she'll go weds and thurs. it's behind me and i must move on but it's my fifth job where i get made redundant!!!! have to laugh otherwise would take it personally... will check ealing 135 - not a member at the mo. how about catting one another - reckon will be easier to organise meeting up. will catch up with you soon. hope all is well your end. x

Slink · 29/06/2005 18:03

Nanou dd goes to the YMCA on thursday pm happy to meet up with you there anytime she is in class from 3-4pm and there is a play area for your dd to play.
