Shame KP and Surfer can't make it - maybe next time Surfer you could show us one of your routines?!!!! We'll raise a glass or two to you and Amynix!!!

Kittypickle · 07/06/2005 17:21

I didn't read Surfermum's post quite right the first time, thought she was going to Lap Dancing classes

Surfermum · 07/06/2005 20:06

With a few glasses of wine in me, Merlin, it's practically guaranteed. That or I'll whip my top off. Maybe you weren't that far off the mark KP! I was very restrained on that first meet up. Have a lovely time tonight.

Merlin · 08/06/2005 09:30

Morning everyone - hope you all had a good time last night. I was certainly regretting those 'few' glasses of wine and 4.15am when Ryan woke for a feed!!

Sparkler - hope you found your way home OK too!!!

Looking forward to the next meetup already!!!

SPARKLER1 · 08/06/2005 09:58

Hi Merlin. I found my way home fine thanks. .
Thanks for a lovely evening - it was good to have a giggle and eat lots of yummy food (although my waistline whereever it may be probably didn't think so!!!)
Hope you're head isn't feeling too sore today - it was quite nice waking up with a clear head this morning, I shall have to drive again - mind you that would be boring wouldn't it? []grin]

Hi Merlin, I had a great evening, thanks for having us all over! What happened to the rest of the fat-boy pizza?

Thanks for lovely cream cakes, Delgirl, mmmmm.

Glad you got home safely Sparkler!

Merlin · 08/06/2005 17:03

sorry DG forgot to thank u for the cakes! How did you get on with Amelia's weigh in today by the way?

Jodee - fat boy pizza was consigned to the bin so we couldn't be tempted!!!

bunny2 · 08/06/2005 19:04

Cheers Merlin. I suffered to this morning tohugh, ds woke at 2 am and was rally itchy. It took over an hour, a cool shower, cream and piriton to settle him! I really felt it this morning!

Hi all

Thank you for a great evening Merlin. Nice to see everyone again. Can't wait for the next groovy night out. Where shall it be? BHS, Beales or Austin Reeds? Or, should we go more upmarket and try M & S lol.

Sorry Amelia wasn't happier but the hv said she'd prob want to feed more in this weather and thats exactly what she has been doing. I've just put her to bed, she cried for a couple of minutes and then just went off bless her. I'm hoping she'll got through til about 10.30 and then see how3 the night pans out. Oops, this isn't the post natal thread is it .

Anyway, hope to see you all again soon.

BTW, if you want to read about the weigh in fiasco, see below!!!

sorry, how did ryan get on last night. I did ask when I typed the post 1st time, but I lost the post so had to re-type it. I'm going to get some dinner now to see if that helps the grey matter!

Merlin · 08/06/2005 20:15

Ryan went through til 4.15am. Had a bit of a headache at that time I can tell you. His 8 wk check was all fine - nice GP commented that he was a 'chubby boy!!!'

Merlin · 08/06/2005 21:39

DG - just read your post about the weigh-in! That is just ridiculous - they sound incompetent to be weighing a young baby - of course they wriggle about!!! I can honestly, say that with Jack and Ryan I have never had that sort of palaver - poor you. As someone else suggested I would get your own scales to use at home if you are worried. Speak to you soon.
