Hello everyone out there!

Just joined this morning (what a miserable one eh!) and wondered if there were any new or experienced mums in my area who would like to meet up.

I am due my first baby on June 1st and felling a bit overwhelmed/terrified/ overjoyed all at the same time!!

Would love to meet up with anyone in the area for chat or whatever.

Just wondered, have you tried also posting in MN local? If you are new to the site, look in "local" on the top bar and choose your local area.

Another idea for you would be to join your local NCT group. You don't need to be a member of the NCT or go on a course to go to meet-ups, and they can be pretty low key eg. just teas in someone's house.

It is probably pot-luck whether you get on with the people you meet, but I think it's worth a try. They will all be feeling overwhelmed/ terrified/ overjoyed too, guaranteed!

Have joined the NCT so will look at their site too for the various mums and babies groups.
