Thought i'd start a new one cos the old one is pretty dead.

One of these I tested after my brekkie today and it was high so i have to find something else to eat tomorrow and test again. It's just finding stuff to eat that's hard and not drinking coke

Did you have to have that awful thing where they do a blood test and then you have to drink a nasty drink and wait before having another test?
I remember having that, but I was so swollen up that they had to take the blood from my hands and even there they couldn't find veins and I left with black knuckles covered in pinpricks. Ouch!

Anyone up to anything nice this weekend?
We're just cleaning up today, i've just come out of the way so hopefully Luke'll go to sleep. He's fighting it! I'm hoping the weather's nice tomorrow so we can go for a picnic. We haven't really tried because of Ben thinking it's so much fun to run off all the time, but i'm hoping he'll stay at least within running distance .

Lovely to see you on Friday Wot , i think you got more of a cuddle than you expected from Luke didn't you , trying to munch his way through your top .

Phoenix i'm going to sort out all the baby stuff this weekend. Do you want to pick it up, or me to drop it off? And do you want pj's as well (the hardly/or not worn ones obviously), or just outfits? I bet your relieved to have finished work .

Is it this week you said your dd's at Butlins Knickers? Which one are thet going to?

Hi Hiccy, We're going away for a few days tomorrow til Friday so anytime after that i can pick them up or we can meet up somewhere (Funworld?) and i'll get them off you. The way this baby is already growing i don't think i'll need much newborn stuff tbh, i'm already measuring big for dates (30cm at 28wks) and ds was 9lb 2oz and not in newborn size very long

Yes Wot i had that glucose tolerance test. I'm ok to get blood out of and i had to drink lucozade which i like so i don't find it that bad

I wish I had got lucozade. I hate a really thick, sticky drink that was yuck yuck yuck. Have a lovely time away, Phoenix - but make sure you relax and look after yourself and the bump.

We've been house hunting this weekend. We have seen two possibilities in Outwood. I like moving house so I'm excited about it

I'd like to try Funworld - could we arrange a meet-up there for when Phoenix is back? How about Friday 15th May?

My mum has just rung to tell me that my nan has fallen and broken her other hip She had a hip replacement three years ago and was just recovered from it and now it's happened again. She's 90 this year. Send good thoughts down to her in Coventry please everyone.

Ooops I can't do the 15th May either we're going to The Baby Show in Birmingham. So much for me been available anytime . I'm pretty sure i can do any other day as long as they avoid any of the extra hospital appointments i'll now have or mw appointments
