I went through similar when I was a teenager (good friend died in car accident). I remember the shock/grief at school now more than I do my own grief iyswim.

Not sure I can make the meetup - we have a family party, and i don't know whether it is Saturday or Sunday yet.

MABS so sorry about your DDs friend. Is DD ok? How did DSs op go?

Ladies I have a really bad throat and ear infection, if I am still not good on Saturday I don't think I will be going. I will keep you up dated.

I hope you are all posting on your Local Brighton site as well...not saying you have to of course (not that you would even if we did say you had to ) but it would brighten (no pun intended... well not really) the site up and there's at least one new arrival on desperate for some local info on there.

I only have Brighton as one of my home sites cos I so wish I lived there... enjoy the seaside for me (Blackpool exile currently living in islington, the least green borough in the UK )
