Just wondering if any of you are in Herts and would be interested in meeting up? I'm in Welwyn Garden City - DS is 4 and DD is 2.

I am in Melbourn Zerub so quite near you in Royston although technically South Cambridgeshire and not Herts!

Not been to Toddler World but went to new place in Stevenage recently (Castaway Kids at Roaring Meg) and DS (18 months) got squashed by all the older children on school holidays!

Janstar · 07/08/2003 14:21

Well I am game to drive to Hatfield or Welwyn or whatever. Friday is my best day. I am not available this coming week but okay after that.

lou33 · 07/08/2003 14:33

Toddler World in Galleria is quite small, but mine enjoyed it, as long as it isn't very busy. Also happens to be next to loads of restaurants/cafes/bars, which can be handy. I think there is bigger similar thing about 5 mins drive away, but can't remember where exactly.

Munchk2n · 07/08/2003 14:43

oooh, I might be moving to Royston soon Zerub/Futurity (if it doesn't fall through...)

I unfortunately work full-time but weekends work for me.

Janstar · 07/08/2003 15:08

Weekends are okay for me too.

Wills · 07/08/2003 16:46

I can do any time as am off on maternity leave now. Weekends are still fine.

Given that many of you are in Herts, how many are planning on going to the seedling arts festival for children at Hatfield weekend of the 15/16/17th August?

misdee · 07/08/2003 18:13

ok, there is activity world in birchwood area of hatfield which is good for older kids, but toddler world is great for little uns, plus the resturants are close.
whats seedlings festival? where abouts in hatfield is it?

mieow · 07/08/2003 19:14

I'm in St Albans: working full time all week but keen to meet up weekends as I know virtually no Mums locally. I have three children: boys of 14 and 10 and a baby of 13 months. Suzy

Janstar · 11/08/2003 08:01

Suzy, I live in Bricket Wood and have daughters of 11 and nearly 14 and a son of 2. Would be glad to meet up. I am switching off my computer now and won't be back till Friday but let's chat after that.
