Hi, would love to get to know mums in the area. We are planning on moving in January and it would great to have some friends! I have twin girl, Emily and Olivia who will be 2 in January. They are great fun and quite good, well I would say that! As long as there are toys and food they don't seem to complain.

We put bump when we can't help but want to move your thread up the list so it may get noticed by someone who can.

Hi Jotwins,

I just joined MN today and came across your post. I live in the next village to Lesmahagow in Blackwood. A few minutes driveaway. I've got 3 DC, the youngest is 18months & is a real cutie. The middle DS is 7 and the eldest 15 and at lesmahagow high school. All boys!! Would be great to cha as i,m looking to meet mums in the area too.

Hi geordieminx, I know uddingston quite well-ish. We lived in Bothwell before moving further out, but I wasn't there long enough to meet other mums or make new friends. I'd love to know what groups are on round about the area in case I have a free morning/afternoon anytime soon

geordieminx · 19/01/2009 10:17

I go to playgroup on a wednesday afternoon at the Salvation Army in Hamilton, its 1-3.

Also go to Gymboree on a Monday 2.30 at the Bothwell Community centre.

Other than that I'm usually found up at the fort eating cake running round after monster child!

Thanks for letting me know the times, but unfortunately I wont be able to go since I have to be back in time to collect DS2 from school at 3pm. what a bummer. Thanks for letting me know anyway

You dont have to come for the full 2 hours - its more of a drop in - plenty of folk come for an hour or half way through
