Meet-ups

When meeting up take sensible precautions. Meet in a public place and let others know where you are going.

Do you fancy meeting up for coffee in Wimbledon on Wednesday?

hello bexibooboo - did you have a time in mind? I'm around in the morning...I'm in Earlsfield so can easily come to Wimbledon.

fisil · 13/03/2005 19:08

Yes, I do. Where? When?

Niddlynono · 13/03/2005 19:15

Yipee.
How about 11am? Haven't met up with other mums and kids in Wimbledon before so I don't know where would be practical - Books Etc café? Any other suggestions would be welcome.

(Don't know if you'll be bringing your DSs/DDs but I'll be with DS (2.5yo).)

How exciting.

11am fine for me too - will have DS 17mo with me.

fisil · 13/03/2005 19:17

11a.m. is fine, and Books etc. seems to be a good place. DS will be with me too (just 2) so they can play! He usually has lunch at 11:30, though, so don't know how long we'll last!

RudyDudy · 13/03/2005 19:18

I'll probably be trying to feed mine too fisil which at the moment is a bit of a challenge so could be entertaining - it seems that everything in the world is more interesting than eating and I'm sure new playmates definitely will be

Niddlynono · 13/03/2005 19:33

Books Etc. won't know what's hit them!

Looking forward to meeting you all.

How long do you think you'll all stay there? At gym till 12, will that be too late?

Sorry to be missing you this Wednesday but I can come up next week or when the next meeting will be. I'm getting the baby out of hospital this Wednesday (born 2 weeks ago but in NICU until now), I can't wait to have her home. Books etc sounds like a good place. I love the Chai there.

Niddlynono · 15/03/2005 13:10

Cristina7, we'll have to arrange another one. Watch this space.

Am I right in thinking there's only one Books etc in W'don?

fisil · 16/03/2005 09:42

Yes, just the one - by the traffic lights opposite Tescos. See you soon (upstairs in the cafe/children's books area?). You can tell it's us - by my bump & ds!

RudyDudy · 16/03/2005 09:42

Looking forward to it

Had a great time - thank you ladies. Will be cracking open a bottle of bubbly later on cos I feel so good at having been out, met people, been shopping and had ds all day ... hopefully the drugs are starting to work and I'm back to being me again! Thank you for easing my release back into the world!

I missed this one too. I live round the corner to Books etc. Bexibooboo, sorry didn't arrange anything did we? I'll be up for coffee next time you all meet up. (Am in desperate need of adult conversation and so sick of Thomas the tank engine!)
