Actually, I've just had a thought. I will be at work about 15 minutes away from The Swan on that day - I'll just have a chat with a couple of people and see if anyone lives near enough for me to go and visit for an hour or so. Otherwise, I'll be driving all the way back home, only to turn around half an hour later and go back to almost exactly the same place!!!

Coo LF, that's an inspired cake. [We're not worthy emoticon].

I found out today that as I had failed to provide something for DD2 to take into school for Xmas bazaar cake stall (don't get me started), she had cornered my mother, who had baked her something. "Please help Granma, mummy is soooo busy".

So I'm currently wallowing in the working mother = bad mother guilt, and added to that I'm going out again tonight to meet up with a group of other mummies. perhaps we can all drink gin and be reprehensible together .
