I think Doodle needs the payments in full by no later than the 5th November (gives paypal enough time to transfer)

Please list your names if you are deff coming.

a la Dorothy!!

couple of weeks ago I bought a tee-shirt. Black with a pair of sparkly red shoes on it, and the words:

Auntie Emm.

Hate you.

Hate Kansas.

Took the dog.

Dorothy.

Let it never be said that mumsnet is dead
'Cos there's so little else occupying my head
There is nothing I need 'cept the function to breathe
But I am really fussed, It does matter to me

[chorus:]
Ruby, ruby, ruby, ruby
Do ya, do ya, do ya, do ya
Know what ya doing, doing to me?
Ruby, ruby, ruby, ruby

Due to lack of interest Saturday is cancelled
Let the clocks be reset and the pendulums held
'Cos there's nothing at all 'cept the space in between
Finding out what you're called and repeating your name

[chorus]

Could it be, could it be, that you're joking with me
And you don't really see you with me
Could it be, could it be, that you're joking with me
And you don't really see you with me

[chorus]

Do ya, do ya, do ya, do ya
What ya doing, doing to me?

Oh no, the numbers are dwindling a bit now aren't they, and poor doodle who's sorted it all out for us.

I'm still coming, got my party dress and shoes - no they don't match and I don't care! After the work week I've had I defo need a drink.

I can't back out now, I've made my Mum rearrange her 50th party cos I'm busy on saturday!

Anyways I've looking forward to it, if not a bit nervous as I've only met the liverpoolies, but I'm in need of a night out and a drink, can't wait to see you all there.

I'm no where near ready, haven't made a badge
going to pack when I get home tonight as I'm working at 7 then leaving to get the coach at 9.30
at least I've managedd to persuade ds to lend me his ds to play on the way up or I'll be booooored cos I can't sleep when travelling

suwoo · 28/11/2008 10:20

I am never a nervous person, but I am a bit about this meet up. V excited though! I've got to go on somewhere else after too. Its my sisters 30th at Obsidian, so I've said I'll join them later. Need to get some tights, but apart from that I'm done. (and no I've not made a badge)

ledodgy · 28/11/2008 10:24

My shoes son't really go with what i'm wearing but I guess will all be easy to find if we're all wearing shoes that don't match our outfits!

suwoo · 28/11/2008 11:02

I am wearing coloured shoes too. We should make it a 'theme' . My shoes match my hair though

Pinkjenny · 28/11/2008 11:03

I'm a bit scared, in a first day of school kind of way!

schneebly · 28/11/2008 11:22

I have sparkly shoos too!

that you cant come Ruby I was really looking forward to meeting you!

Re the badge thing are they supposed to have a picture that makes it obvious what our posting names are?

Pinkjenny · 28/11/2008 11:33

Do we have to have a badge? I feel a bit silly about it?

Sorry, I'm not a party pooper, I promise!

schneebly · 28/11/2008 11:36

lol I was wondering the same Jenny

schneebly · 28/11/2008 11:36

lol I was wondering the same Jenny

Pinkjenny · 28/11/2008 11:37

I've never been an arts and crafts type of person. Can't we just say what our posting names are, in manner of training session icebreaker?

Oh, I don't know, it's all very strange!

Pinkjenny · 28/11/2008 11:38

Schneebly - you look very familiar. Did you grow up in Southport?

whoops · 28/11/2008 11:39

Surely on a badge we would need posting names and real names? I would feel daft sat there calling everyone by their posting names as would I feel daft everyone calling 'whoops' to me
