we're all bringing babies correct?

iwantasecondone · 01/11/2008 11:18

Yes, babies are welcome to come on their own though if they can get there.

I have a dilemma..

Should I come to the meet up and see all the yummy babies or should I stand on a London street waiting for DD to go past (and not see me) on a float in the Lord Mayor's Show?

DD's school has involvements with the City of London and every year Yr4 children ride on a so-called DARE bus. DD is at her Dad's this weekend and he has already said he'd stand on the pavement waiting for her to go past (and not see him).

Would I be failing in my Duty of Care if I just sat in Starbucks drinking Cappucinos? I haven't asked DD if she wants me to be there because I know she'll say yes (bad mummy emoticon).

Oh dear.......what to do?

By the way, the Lord's Mayor Show may create problems for some of you travelling to the meet up. Details here

littleducks · 07/11/2008 15:47

Ewe · 07/11/2008 15:49

iwantasecondone · 07/11/2008 20:23

Really want to come but if DS is like he was today we cant. He is miserable with teething. Hoping there may be a tooh when he wakes.
