Hi JoD
Congratulations on the birth of your daughter. What have you have called her? My daughter fed every 2 hours but it was worth it as I lost lots of weight quickly. My husband is on a stag do in Seville at the moment, my 2 have been very lively this weekend and I haven't been feeling too good as i'm pregnant(again!!) All been well I'm due mid Nov. Everything is fine so far!
Hope you are getting lots of rest!!

Congratulations Hollybelle - that's great news!

We called our baby Amelia Anne. I hope that all this breastfeeding has the same effect on me as it did on you - I feel enormous at the moment. I don't suppose stuffing my face with chocolate while feeding the baby is helping though

hollybelle · 14/04/2005 18:56

I'm sure the chocolate won't do too much harm!!!!
Are you getting much sleep? The first 6 weeks are always the worst while you get into a routine.I'm still feeling nauseous and tired but hopefully only for a couple more weeks!!!!

JoD · 28/04/2005 18:21

Hope you are feeling a bit better and that early tiredness has passed.

Sleeping isn't too bad - we have good nights and bad ones. Am very positive today as I had 6 1/2 hours of uninterrupted sleep last night. Long may it continue!

Hope you and babe are ok.bye for now

Hi, I know you all wrote about meeting up ages ago, but would any of you like to meet again?? Just moved into the area and would love to get some hints and tips about things to do, especially during the holidays, with 2 children under 2! Thank you.

hollybelle · 22/07/2005 20:07

Hi bumbled
I'm still around!!! I have 2 little ones ds 3 and dd 14months and my 3rd is due in November (must be crazy). Just back from a great week in Cornwall, lots of washing to do now!
Do you live locally?

Bumbled · 24/07/2005 20:04

Evening, glad to hear you had a great holiday, what a come down with the rain though eh?? I barely remembered how we spent the day inside, had to scrape together some cake-making.... Anyway, I'm 10 minutes away in Rockingham, but fall into the Corby area and there are literally NO groups here (well, there are 2, but they're at lunchtime when the boys are asleep!). Managed to find out some more today, thank god, but would love any ideas or to meet up with people over the summer. I'm on my own all week (dh works in Wales) and am bored rigid with a conversation consisting of 40 words....:0

Hi Bumbled
Not up to much myself at the moment! I work on Thursday and Friday (children go to nursery, ds also goes 9-3 on Tues). Usually go to Dance and prance group on Weds but it doesn't run during school holidays. Its held at Welland park college on Weds and Thurs morning, also not too expensive!
I'm fed up of this weather too! DH was away all weekend playing golf leaving me to fend boredom off! Managed a visit to McD's on ds insistance!
Would be happy to meet up some time?
A good place to go is the farm park at Desborough (if weather is good). We've been a couple of times this year ds loves the animals.
