The Reebok bar is on the second floor of the building that Waitrose is in - turn right coming out of the lift or you will end up in the gym with the beautiful people! I'll plan to be there around 5.30 pm.

No current plans for dinner - thought we could head over to wagamama or gourmet burger kitchen or carluccios or something depending on who wants to hang around and how the mood takes us.

yes... me, Oldcat, and I have forgotten L's handle. It was lovely once we found each other ... and a fab bar too LA - great choice.

As an interesting corollary LegalAlien and I met unexpectedly today. I'm sure you will apreciate the sheer glamour of our lives when I tell you that it was at a 4th birthday party in a sports hall in Wapping. Fruit Shoots were served!

well, I was a complete failure, not turning up at a meet up I had organised . serves me right for trusting the fates that DH would not be busy! Glad to hear that you had a good time on Friday: very funny to meet up with bran unexpectedly.

I didn't want to have to admit this, but although I had met LegalAlien twice before I wasn't sure that it was her (I'm rubbish with faces). So I eyed her up from across the hall while chatting to my DH, and then seeing that she was in conversation I thought would amble by and see if she had a Kiwi accent. Fortunately as I walked over she waved and said "Hi". I'd make a rubbish spy.

We did have a conversation about whether every birthday party we attend would be likely to have at least one other (usually unknown) MNetter. I think the probability is quite high, a bit like that statistic of never being more than 10 feet from a rat if you live in London. You don't know for certain that the rats are there, but the population density suggests that they must be. Same for MNetters, there are so many that if you live in a major city you probably walk past several every day without knowing it.

(I did try to think of a better comparison for Mnetters than rats, but I couldn't. Please feel free to swap the word "rats" for "butterflies" or other similar lovely things if you want.)
