MistressMary · 11/02/2005 20:04

MistressMary · 14/02/2005 14:57

I'm bumping this up.

Boomerang, 1st March 1 - 2 o'clock start.

Who can come?

angelfire · 14/02/2005 16:24

I would love to come to Boomerang - have a little boy who is nearly 2

kkgirl · 15/02/2005 10:33

Sorry to hijack your thread.
A friend has invited us to go to Boomerang with her on Thurs. I have two eight year olds and 1 eleven year old, and I'm worried that the 11 year old will be too old/boisterous.
I was trying to find a website, and came across this thread.

Can anyone help with info please?

littlerach · 16/02/2005 09:49

I am not sure if there is an age limit, maybe a height limit!! The bigger ones do get boisterous, but then I wouldn't go with little ones in half term!!

Anymore meeting up??

MistressMary · 16/02/2005 19:03

Anyone else would like to come?

scottishlassie · 19/02/2005 21:39

hi, Ive just joined up. Moved to Trowbridge from Dunfermline in Fife in November and havnt made any friends except husbands workmates wifes (not really me!) and im looking for some mates to meet up with or have round for a coffee a chat an a giggle!!Ive got a little boy of 27 months and a little girl of 10 an a half months. If you are meeting up at boomerang id like to come along and meet you all if that would be ok.

Its awful moving to a new place and you dont know anyone so I found this site while looking for driving instructions to boomerang - fate!!

MistressMary · 25/02/2005 14:00

Right bump up time.
Who can come?

charleypops · 25/02/2005 14:16

Hope no one minds me butting in, but dp and I are hoping to move house this year and we like the look of Melksham. Is it nice living there? Is there lots of nice countryside to go dogwalking?

Sorry, ignore me if you like, I know I'm being cheeky!

MistressMary · 25/02/2005 14:28

Ummm...... right.
The town is small and has lots of takeaways and three charity shops. Small sainsburys and small somerfield.
The town has the Avon rubber factory which does smell at times.
There is the riverside walk and countryside to be found. We have two fields behind us where we used to walk our dogs. Although they may have been earmarked for property development? We are friendly here, well we are anyhow.
Also there is the blue pool and Boomerang of course which is in Bowerhill.
And Bath city is not very far away.
also got leekes the department store too.
Any use to you?

charleypops · 25/02/2005 14:40

Well, you've not put me off MM! I do like a takeaway myself (as long as they deliver) and LOVE charity shops. A dept store always comes in handy (it sounds like an old school, Are You Being Served one!) Blue pool and Boomerang sound intriguing. I think we'll have another nose round in the spring. We also considered Bath, but Melksham seemed a bit more countryfied, which is what I'd like. Think we've narrowed it down to Wiltshire or Dorset - maybe Bournemouth.

Thanks!

MistressMary · 25/02/2005 21:16

Come on people!! Where are you all?

MistressMary · 26/02/2005 22:07

All by myself......
