Could we tag along as well please ?? I vaguely know where Sutton park is but not sure where Towngate is

mummyhill · 02/08/2008 23:20

Of course you can Tilly. Town Gate is the gate that is closest to Sutton Town Centre. Just off the little island sown from Wyndley swimming pool!

Thanks - I don't know anyone though . Is it definitely happening on Tuesday or will it be postponed if its raining ? I'm about an hour away so don't want to travel over there if its off (obviously).

AlexanderPandasmum · 03/08/2008 23:51

Hi,

I'd like to come too if that's ok? I would also appreciate meeting at the station as although I've been to Sutton Park before I have a rubbish sense of direction .

mummyhill · 04/08/2008 07:49

Tilly as long as the weather is fine or just the odd shower we will be there on Tuesday.

Alexanderpandasmum you are more than welcome to join us.

I shall fabricate some kind of sign so we can all meet up without having to approach complete strangers with the excuse me but are you (insert an odd MN name)?.

For those wanting to meet at Sutton Coldfield Station. I will be waiting by the ticket office from approx 11.45am. Email me on the address in the previous message and I will give you my mobile number.

TinkerBellesMum · 04/08/2008 09:13

AlexanderPandasmum do you want to meet me in town or Five Ways for the train so you know someone to travel with?

ChairmumMiaow · 04/08/2008 14:50

Actually I won't be going now. We're having sleep issues and I'm just exhausted. I shall stay home tomorrow and take all of DS's naps with him

TinkerBellesMum · 04/08/2008 15:01

Awww that's a shame. Sorry to hear things aren't much better with the sleeping.

BTW, is this bring your own or bring a plate or a bit of both?

mummyhill · 04/08/2008 16:22

Tends to be bring your own but we all seem to end up sharing as someone always brings something different or particularly yummy iyswim. Or like me forgets there are only 3 of us and buys enough to feed a small army!

OP posts:
mummyhill · 04/08/2008 16:23

Forgot to add sorry you aren't coming chairman, I know what sleep deprivation can do to you though. You have my sympathy on that score. DS still doesn't sleep reliably and he is nearly 3.

OP posts:
TinkerBellesMum · 04/08/2008 16:44

So a bit of both. Will have to go out extra early in the morning to nip up to Tesco.

mummyhill · 04/08/2008 17:07

Forecast is for showers so will try to source a second gazebo in case we need to sit under canvas and do some art or craft activities! Thursdays forecast is the same at the moment so am prepared to take the chance tomorrow if the rest of you are.

What age ranges are we working with so I can get some age appropriate stuff out of my art and crafts stash!
