OK I'll pop over tonight and book. The patio is right next to the hugh rubbish bin so it could be a little unpleasant. I'll book a table near the french door which is nice. The price is half way between pub and bistro, 10-15 quid for the main?

Mellow - could you bring two Suki serums, please?

Sushi - I thought they did pub meals that you didn't have to book?

QC - oh you mean the pub, not the restaurant bit which is situated at the back of the pub? I've eaten once in the pub but don't know if they have different menu. I'll ask.

I'm being a cheap skate Sushi! Also allwos epople to not eat if they don;t want to or eat something chepaer and pay for it themselves IYSWIM.

yes I'm slightly closer to the station than Foxie (I'm less than 5 min walk) but no doubt my junk spare room is scruffier.

Actually MrsR DS1 and DD are camping in a tent in our front room at the moment - in their sleeping bags!!

what a brilliant idea! Mine are in the spare room at the mo - they have a df stayinging from Camber so its 3 in a bed at the mo.

Well DS1 was set on the idea of sleeping in the garden all summer but I said "No way!!!"

When we were on the way to Cornwall, he went into a service station with DH and DD and they came out with a mini tent!!!

They sit up every evening giggling, using their torches to read and poking the remote control through the door to change TV channels.

Morning ladies! Have booked a table for 8. The menu is the same throughout the pub. They have pub food (mainly sandwitches) but it's only till 3pm. They do steak sandwitch all day which is 5 pounds. Table is at the back as the main pub bit is quite warm (no air-con). Hope this is OK.

Its called the Inn at Kew Gardens - come out of tube on Gardens side and head towards gardens until you see starbucks and Glasshouse on your right. Turn left down Sandycombe road and its about 50 yds on the right
