WORCESTER meet up - time for another

Having bumped into Furball at my local leisure centre, we agreed it must be time for another...
thankfully Furball shouted my RL name as "hello Miggins" would have been v embarrassing
was nice to see her DS that she talks about in the flesh!

so when is everyone free?

I take it Whittington Swan as usual.

Suggestions:-

Fri 4th July
Fri 1st Aug

To be honest, cos of summer holidays and kids, I cant make any others so if these dont suit, feel free to suggest others

just starting the ball rolling....

Aah, 1st August. I will have to see, cos dh is likely to be working away again and i will need to organise a babysitter.Will let you know.

The meet up is here (just on the outskirts of Worcester)

It looks like its going to be on 1st August but no time decided yet. Usually someone furball books a table when they know how many are coming -its usually for around 8pm

What usually happens is we turn up, loiter by the bar for a couple of minutes and hope to see a group of women also looking around the room! Furball usually books the table under "Mumsnet", so you can just ask for that table, rather than "Furball". Last time we went though, the table had been booked as Mumfnet.

Once you say you're coming, you have to turn up though! Once, we booked a table for about 12 people, and only 6 of us turned up. We looked like real billy-no-mates as the waitress took away half the tables and settings .

Furball - eternal DH problems mean I am not to be counted on - I will negotiate closer to the time (TBH, best scenario is that DH is away/late and I can negotiate with my DM instead, but that is unlikely) - so include me out on the number for now

I will nudge LilRed and ask if she wants to go..

Just seen this. I wont be coming as at a wedding that eve but nice to know you still meet up.

I am also expecting (not until Oct) but am shattered at the mo!

Maybe towards end of year will try to meet up with you all!
