hiya, what do you reckon to next thursday as i seem to recall that was when it;s worked best for people when meeting up before. bessie, i cant remember where you are in london. if it's just you then from my pov can do london bridge, green park and battersea park without too much travel hassle?

if others interested then i know people were talking about regents park as a happy halfway for south and north londoners alike.

Is it possible / allowed to take buggy on the tube escalators? Can't remember, and there's NO WAY I can manage with the baby bjorn any more....

hi i'd love to come. only prob is thursday is a complete nightmare for me as i can't palm off 19month old. monday wednesday or friday would be much easier for me.
gill you can take the buggy on escalators. bit nervewracking at first. i nearly cried my first time. have your first go not in rush hour! and if in doubt get someone with a buggy to show you. you could always practice in marks and sparks

if not thurs then wed ok for me, or Fri pm. Maybe I'll take DP to practise the escalators before trying on my own!

Just managed to get on the interwebby; dd has grizzled herself to sleep. I can only really do Tuesdays, but can manage Thursday mornings or Mondays if that is easier for everyone else. Fridays are difficult for me. Princess, could you do a Tuesday?

well I think us London girls (especially those with only one) should really bite the bullet and all head down to see Egg on the train one day. Can't be more than an hour or so from London (Waterloo?) and we can all look after each other.

If it's Regents Park, I am going to say zoo reeelly reely quietly. They have a new butterfly house. However, I know that it is expensive and is really a day trip.

nicki you more than welcome! tho' fear i can hear tumbleweed on this thread... mitfords big lol at zoo meet. fear i may not be able to persuade dh to cough up for the entry, but reckon we should make sure we keep up the postnatal thread as long as poss so that we can take our lo's when they a little bit older.

my feeling is that if we get more than a couple of yays for, say 11.30am at boathpuse cafe bu this evening, let's do it! otherwise, i may slink into a corner with tail between legs at my inability (YET AGAIN) to sort a meet up out it personally emoticion!

Sorry everybody, mumnesia again - just recalled that ds has his 16 week injections tomorrow, so no can do tomorrow the 24th but would love to do another day.

Tomorrow is still ok for me. I can do Regents Park at the boathouse cafe, but it will take me a while to get there; could we make it 12.00 instead? If not, it's not a problem, just means I will have to get moving in the morning. I will check this thread tomorrow morning, to see what is best with everyone.
