Meet-ups

When meeting up take sensible precautions. Meet in a public place and let others know where you are going.

Single Parent by Choice Meet? Anyone interested?

I'm thinking of those of us who have adopted, used donor sperm or chose not to have a partner involved in some other way. I suppose those whose DC's really don't have a practical/legal father.

How do you fancy a Meet-up (am going to suggest London or close as I'm organising it but we could be flexible - say Godstone Farm or somewhere similar)

If you don't want to admit openly that you are in that group then CAt me if you are interested.

Where is this godstone farm that you all talk of?

I'm central so not very farm-aware.

Kewcumber · 18/06/2008 09:54

its fab, we went a few weeks ago

The farm sounds very nice. Is it easy to get to on public transport? It's a bit of a way for us to drive (we're in NW London).

We could go to the Diana Memorial playground if people wanted more central (I've not been yet but it's supposed to be lovely )

Kewcumber · 18/06/2008 11:38

oh yes if you're NW then possibly too far (but is fab)

MrsR we could arrange a West London meet at Godstone Farm one Saturday?

oh would love to but have a bridezilla wedding to attend that day!

Would love to meet you all though.

Kew area generally is fine for me - I'm not local but I know it (grew up nearby) so I can confidently get there and all that stuff.

Sorry to be a no-show.

Kewcumber · 15/07/2008 15:10

1st was only a thought becasue was thinking of meeting MrsR that day - trying to kill two birds. Lets pick another day.

I can't make 1st August as we will be away in (hopefully but I'm not holding my breath) sunny Devon. Kew is actually pretty easy for me to get to on the overground so am happy to come down there some point. I'm going back to work ft next month though so can only do weekends

Kewcumber · 16/07/2008 14:27

weekends are fine by me generally. name a couple of Saturday/Sundays you acn make and we'll try to fix a date. Happy to host here and 5 min walk from distrcit line tube if anyone is using public transport.
