Hi - yes, second half of August if possible 'cos we're gatecrashing a friend's place in Devon at the beginning of Aug.

Picnic sounds lovely - do we have to bring our dc's?!

Nemoandthefishes · 08/06/2008 19:25

I will be there as long as its not when we are camping!! Sure 3LB will come too!

(I'm not an honorary Stopfordian, I am a Stopfordian, I just don't live there any more )

Depending on the date, I very well may come, it's about time I came over and visited some friends just for the sake of coming over.

BlueDragonfly · 08/06/2008 19:29

lol @ do we have to bring DCs

OK, so second half of August.

I don't know Vernon Park. Is that the one they have race for life in? In offerton? or am i mixing it up with Woodbank? What else can you do there?

What can you do in Alexander (alexandra?) park or Hollywood park?

OP posts:
fryalot · 08/06/2008 19:30

Is Bruntwood Park still there?

cornsilk · 08/06/2008 19:30

paddingtonbear1 · 08/06/2008 22:31

I cycled through Bruntwood today. Long queues for ice cream.
There is another park near Stockport, trying to think of the name, went for picnic there last year.... argggh!! will have to get a-z...
Etherow country park, that's it.

BlueDragonfly · 08/06/2008 22:42

OP posts:
thritbies · 09/06/2008 00:23

Hello all! Just seen this, of course I would love to come! Not seen anyone for AGES.

Am away 9-23 Aug though

Happy to go any of places mentioned.

mmj and nemo I need to phone you both!

mom/blue...how are you and the boys?!

BlueDragonfly · 09/06/2008 09:44

is that you 3lb?

riiiight so its looking like 25th-31st Aug!! 25th is bank holiday which means that Lucycat and I may be camping if the weather has been nice (assuming that i haven;t been swept awy by shoddy tentmanship and flash floods)

OP posts:
paddingtonbear1 · 09/06/2008 10:23

I may be working that week apart from the Friday - have asked my dad to look after dd (have to arrange loads in advance). But I might be able to pop down later on, depending on time.
