Off to look at Wakefield thread...25th is ringing bells but I'm not sure why!

Tetley · 12/01/2005 15:15

Kayleigh - just a couple of miles from where I live! You'll definately have to get us to sort out a meet up next time!

Kayleigh · 12/01/2005 15:20

Tetley, that would be great. Would love to meet you. Nearer the time we'll have to start a thread. I'll be there 2nd weekend in August.

Secur - have you not been to Eureka? It's fab. We live nowhere near and have been twice! Cheap with Tescos vouchers too!

We're occasional Yorkshire visitors too - my bro is currently in Roundhay, but wants to move to Shipley or thereabouts in the New Year.

wait til feb for eureka! because the new under 5s bit opens then. how about a meet up there btwn 1/2 term & easter sometime

might make 25th - depends how much my house needs tidying b4 i have the NCT committee meeting here that eve!

roisin · 13/01/2005 10:55

Eureka is fabulous - but tends to be very busy and very noisy! But it is easy to get to by public transport, being right next to the railway station.

I'm not sure it would be ideally suited for a meet-up, as it tends to be so busy and so noisy, and the kids do need a fair degree of supervision. But if it were a nice day there would be scope for a massive picnic together on the grass outside next to the station.

Costs: U3s free, adults & children £6.50 each.
Saver ticket - 5 people for £27.50.
But if you send off for Tescos museum vouchers you can get £10 worth of entry vouchers for £2.50 clubcard vouchers.

You can also use clubcard vouchers in a similar way to get into MAGNA at Sheffield, which is great fun too.

I'm up for a meet up in leeds. I'm in Harrogate and would be using public transport so again easily accessible please .

Newbarnsleygirl · 13/01/2005 11:59

We might be having a meet up on the 25th at Cheeky monkees at Wakefield. It's posted on the other thread (New mums in Wakefield) if anyone can make it. Although not everyone has said if they can come yet and if its ok for transport etc.
