Is the nice weather finally coming I'm dying to start going to parks

We'll come on Friday too if that's okay (providing the window men don't pick then to come back )

Hope everyone's okay. trace and knickers hope you're little ones are feeling better xxx

itsahardknocklife · 22/04/2008 07:52

Tee hee. I am off to take him to childminders in 2 mins
Where is funworld?

hiccymapops · 22/04/2008 08:14

It's that one in mapplewell. He's not that fussed over it there at the minute, i think he'll prefer it when he's climbing more, but it gets us out. I think i'm going to try another toddler group, i've tried a couple but they weren't too friendly (maybe it's me ) Has anyone been to that one at sure start in Hemsworth? It's a 'stay and play' or something.

trace2 · 22/04/2008 09:05

No Trace, I'm not back at work, but I have been paying for the childminder with childcare vouchers through my work, and there is quite a lot of dosh in that account. Sadly you can't get it back and it can only be spent on childcare! And it gives me a break.

yes it is! And technically he should be in childcare as I am 'on paper' still working.

I would take it back and just say that it broke. You don't have to say that it was dd who was playing with it. Chances are that it would have broken if a three year old was playing with it, the only difference is that they might not have choked on it. Yeah, take it back.

just take it back say it broke, you dont have to say who you got it for!

isa good on you enjoy your child free time i know i would

itsahardknocklife · 22/04/2008 14:51

yeah it's nice. I usually walk and wash the dog (which I have done) and spend some uninterrupted time on the computer - which I am doing.
Cor isn't the weather lovely today? It's really cheered me up
Right, my washing machine is REALLY leaking now. Water comes out the door and the drawer. I have been in touch with the plumber, who says it'll be £20 for labour, and he is going to find out how much a new seal for the door would be on top of that. Dammit. I was really hoping it would last a couple of months and then we could get a new one.

itsahardknocklife · 22/04/2008 15:03

except the warm weather has made the landfill site smell and the whole area smells. grumble grumble.
