I've just moved to Bristol - don't know many people in the area yet. I'm pregnant so no baby yet. If anyone from Bristol wants to message me that would be nice. I am in Fishponds. I currently lurk on the ante Natal clubs

Evening or in the day. If it is the day, will need a date asap to get mil to have kids, as dh is at work on sat's.

milge · 07/01/2005 22:31

Is nobody speaking to me re JF?

PinkArjuna · 08/01/2005 00:37

ZoeBristol I moved from Cardiff about a month ago. Fishponds is just up the road from Ikea. I am due in June and the months seem to be going so fast. It seems like I only just found out, but I was 18 weeks today so almost half way. I probably won't come to the Cardiff meet as I have to travel back there twice a week for College and don't want to be driving and paying for the bridge 3 times in one week.

Where did you move from? Are you enjoying it here? I haven't gotten out much yet - just my yoga class as I have been feeling so ill.
Take care

Bunni · 08/01/2005 00:40

so where has JF gone then? Sorta puts you off having a meet in my eyes......bit unsure now????

jofeb04 · 08/01/2005 12:34

Bunni,
That was a once off, if u believe, it, but heres not the place to discuss it!!

We need dates now, so please start thinking lmao

Theres not alot of us from here, so we need to try to get us all there

Bunni · 08/01/2005 14:21

jofeb04 never said I believed or didn't believe it. and milge did ask 'Is nobody speaking to me re JF?' didn't she. Just makes you think about who youre meeting thats all i'm saying IMO

Bunni · 08/01/2005 14:22

can i ask how old everyone is? Can you look at profile about the people if so how do you? I don't really know too much about you all.

I am 24.
ZoeBristol I like it here - though admittedly I have been far too ill to really do anything yet. I just like that I have different surroundings and opportunities. I was really unhappy in Cardiff. I knew when I fell pregnant I had to make a change for the better. Also I am hoping to go to university and I knew if I had the baby there I wouldn't end up moving and I would feel trapped. Also Graduate jobs are sparse in Cardiff and surrounding areas as the population is so small. There is high competition for few jobs.

Not being that well off I wasn't really getting the opportunities I needed there. There is better funding for grants for college/uni/childcare in Bristol than Cardiff. Frankly I needed to not be near my family too. It is scary getting up and moving on your own but it is for the better. I started yoga last Thursday. Hopefully I will join a womens reading group in the local library. Though I am anxious to start meeting people. I will have my ante Natal classes and things a bit later on though.

So what is happening about the meet? Is it Cardiff or Bristol? Dates? I know Cardiff well - anyone from Bristol if you wanted help finding it? I have a meet in London in a few weeks for my ante natal club too. If someone is decisive I'll get on board.

PinkArjuna · 08/01/2005 18:28

Oh zoe - if you wanted to meet before then in Broadmead or Cribbs I would be up for that. That is if you can take my general lethary - I am swollen and tired. It would be nice to meet someone new.

ZoeBristol · 08/01/2005 18:38

Hi Pinkarjuna - loved to meet Cribbs is best for me as I dont know broadmead and parking is better at cribbs. I am free Mondays, thursdays PM and soon wednesdays. Did you say ante natal in London ??.

jofeb04 · 08/01/2005 19:31

Bunni · 09/01/2005 00:01

hello pink and zoe....hehe thought i would jump in here I would like to meet some new peeps too I could possibly make it to cribbs???? If I was allowed to join you

PinkArjuna · 09/01/2005 01:30

Um is ZoeB ZoeBristol? I think I may have missed something. Sure Bunni - the more the merrier. When do you both want to go? I am free most days appart from monday and Wednesday As I am in College. It isn't too far either and the front entrace of cribs isn't hard to miss. parking is free too.
