Bulk of my friends now live in Marbella and a couple with baby son own a beach in Vera, I go to Spain at least once every year and dp is keen to drive over there more often so this sounds good!! If it happens it will be good - yes? Smile

One of my close friends married a spaniard and lives near Malaga in Arroya de la Miel. Unfortunately they are no longer together but she has a gorgeous daughter and decided that life in spain was better than over here so she stayed.
Don't get to see her nearly enough - maybe I could combine visits..... oooh getting excited at the thought Smile

Hola

I live in Andalucia too! I'm over on the eastern side in Arcos de la Frontera near Jerez.

Have you been in Granada long? We've been 2 and half years and DS is 6 months in a few days.

Does anyone else actually live here or are they all visiting??

Got to Granada some time soon for DH work.

SenoraPostrophe · 08/01/2005 11:25

Hi chicca

Been here 2 years (lived for 2 years on the coast before that). Been meaning to tour the area a bit more, but it's a bit difficult with a dd age 2 and a ds aged 11 months.

What's it like in Jerez?

It's good - bit chilly at the moment (still warmer than UK though). Have one other Mummy mate close by who's English so that helps the distance from family and friends issue. We're out in the country in an old cortijo so life is pretty different here to our previous London existence.
