Hey his commute can't be more than 45 minutes surely. My dh's is 1.5-2 hours! Ridiculous! Where does your dh work in Winchester or is that too much information?

puddytats · 14/12/2004 20:54

It takes him 1 1/4 hours each way as long as there is no traffic. He has to be in the office by 8.30 each morning so leaves at 7. Seb (Ds) and I are normally still asleep.

He works for a firm of Acturaries next to the train station.

Gosh the traffic must be really bad at that time of day as we take 45 mins to go from Chichester to Winchester. Mind you, you must have a bit further to go from East Wittering. My dh also leaves at 7 and doesn't get back until 7 at the earliest. It's the pits, don't you think?

Absolutly! That is one of the reasons he changed his hours so he could have Wednesdays off - it gives me some breathing space and him and Seb some time together.
