Lunch or drinks at Canary Wharf?

I keep waiting for someone to organise a "wharf rat" get together so that I can invite myself along. And they haven't.

So......
...

does anyone out here at the wharf want to meet up for lunch or a drink sometime?

Sounds lovely - thanks for organising it.

legalalien · 13/02/2008 23:32

no problem (and might even achieve my new year's resolution to attempt to arrange a post-child social life - and yes, DS is 3! )

I think I can come if that's OK. I live opposite Canary Wharf work in West End/City borders but Mon is my work from home day.

legalalien · 15/02/2008 15:44

Me too please, if you are still ok with quantity as opposed to quality....

Have just lost my dream house to a cash bidder so I think I need to lick wounds with sympathetic ladies.

bossykate · 15/02/2008 17:15

hi... I have just stumbled on this thread!! I am living near Canary Wharf and just wondering whether this is for working mums or those with babes?

Thanks

Squiffy · 29/02/2008 12:31

Legalien am very sorry too, but have realised that Monday is the only day I can take off next week (and I need to do so because we have builders in at the moment) - for some reason I had this down for the Wednesday in my diary. Will definately come to the next one.

Have fun everyone.

legalalien · 29/02/2008 13:05

kiwibella - that was very spooky - i just read your post on the thread about identity and because you were a kiwi I clicked on your profile, noticed you were in East London and was about to suggest that you came to lunch - during which time you had posted on this thread! There's actually a new thread with the date and time - will add you to the list, no need to be a working mum and children are welcome (main reason for choosing Brown's as the venue).

squiffy - sorry to miss you - good luck with builders (always seems to be needed)
