Hi, I have left a few threads on different sites and still am having no joy in finding any mums in Colchester!! It seems very quiet over there, please reply if are from there. I am meant to be moving there in a matter of weeks and would really like to start getting to know ppl.

Hi Ami. I'm new to this site and have just seen your thread.

I'm Angie and I live in Frinton which is not far from Colchester. I've lived in the Clacton/Frinton area for nearly 3 years having moved here from the Romford area but I love it here.

I live with my hubby Danny and my gorgeous little boy Lewis who is 2 and a real handful but very cheeky with it!

Which part of Colchester are you moving to? I'd be more than happy to meet up with you when you get here. I drive so it shouldn't be a problem.

Angie xx

Hello, also new to this site - it was recommended to me by a friend in Somerset. I moved to Colchester (Great Horkesley) a year ago and have not met anyone!! To be fair - I work four days a week, so I don't get a lot of time. Would really love to meet some other mums in the area though, as i really miss my old friends in Bristol and would love to talk abuot something other than work! xx

Hi, I'm on Colchester too. I must admit that I dont check the 'meet-ups' board very often, but I do check the Colchester Local board, like Sophierosie suggests.

We will have to all meet up again soon in the daytime as there are a few of us now who are getting to know eachother a bit. In fact we are off out for dinner without children on Thursday.
