still nothing yet - a week overdue

so did you have a boy or a girl? have you been to any baby groups or anything?

i have been to a few homebirth groups and met some really nice people, also intend on taking baby to baby massage as that has been highly reccommended.

where abouts in houghton regis are you? i used to live there until about 5 years ago when i moved in with dp.

DisneyAriel · 05/02/2008 12:06

I was 9 days late and I think it was the worst time just sitting there waiting! I have a little girl. I go to one baby group on a Monday afternoon in Houghton Regis where I can get her weighed. There are lots of mums there with play mats and toys for the babies. I haven't done a baby massage as the classes kept being full but it is something that I am interested in doing. I live at the end of Parkside Drive - where there used to be that bus lane that cut through to the other side but has been closed now, dont know if you know it. Do you live in Dunstable now then?

Hey, ignore that last sentence, I realised that you already told me where you lived!!

yes it is awful being overdue and the constant is it going to be today feeling - i hate it!!
i know where you mean, just pastthe pub and the shop?
i used to live in bromley gardens. now living in dunstable by the parade of shops past northfields - you know it?

so how old are you if you dont mind me asking? i am 21 been with dp for 6 years and i ham having a baby boy - cant remember if i mentioned that?!

did you have your little girl at the L&D? i have a homebirth planned but after 10 days overdue that goes out of the window

DisneyAriel · 05/02/2008 13:21

yeah just past the pub. i know the fire station but dont know what northfields is, have only lived round here for a couple of years. i am 23, i've been married for just over a year but we've been together for 5 years. yes i had her at the L&D, i found that it was really good there, i had a midwife all the time and they were all really nice. so you've only got a few more days left for him to come out in order to get the home birth, you'll have to eat some hot curries or go for a long walk!!!

OP posts:
iampgatlast · 05/02/2008 16:21

oh sorry, northfields is a school.

i have heard some really bad stories about the L&D which has put me off going there but we dont get a choice.

i had an appointment today with the doctor at the hospital and they have agreed to let me go to the full 42 weeks so i have an extension on my homebirth just hope he pops out in time!!

itl be nice to meet up for coffee once my littleone arrives. do you drive?

i have tried curries, prunes, pineapple, sex and nothing is budging him - stubborn little man like his dad

DisneyAriel · 05/02/2008 16:45

no i don't drive unfortunately. yeah we will def have to meet up. it's good that they have given you an extension on the homebirth, i'm sure he will be out by 42 weeks!!

OP posts:
iampgatlast · 05/02/2008 19:43
