scattercushion so I am - (well near enough) that answers your question too Moljam - hows the potty training going? I'll check your thread later. I thought I was the only Bood one on here (not local though, not for another 19 years)

BigBadMouse · 04/02/2008 15:49

oh yes and 'Widmuv Bay' certainly not 'Wide Mouth'!!!

scattercushion · 05/02/2008 10:04

Hollswuthy not Holesworthy. Hi hi hi BigBadMouse!!! I'm not local either - I wonder if my dd will count as one, she moved here aged 6months!

Moljam - I had a cringy experience in the posh kids shop in Camelford. Do you know the bloke who runs it?

moljam · 05/02/2008 10:12

not know him but know who is he.what happened?!i like that shop but quite pricey.theres another little gift shop my auntie owns-i like that

OP posts:
scattercushion · 05/02/2008 10:22

Pricey is the word! I gave Dd a toy to play with whilst I looked round but then forgot I'd given it to her. I think he thought I was shoplifting and asked me if I was intending to buy it. I went to put it back on the shelf and he made me buy it as Dd had sucked on it. It was bloody £13!!!! for a beany baby thing!!! argh so embarrassing. The worse thing was that I was breezily chatting away before this and he was being quite cold and I wondered why at the time. I know now why - he thought I was a felon.

moljam · 05/02/2008 10:30

hes a bit odd, very like that from what ive seen.doesnt like children to look or touch at toys-in a bloody toy shop!

OP posts:
scattercushion · 05/02/2008 10:33

It was my error - should've given her a ridiculously expensive skirt to chew on instead!
In future I'll stick to your auntie's shop - or the charity shop.

moljam · 05/02/2008 10:35

lol !do you come to camelford often?(im not trying to chat you up btw! )

What's a nice girl like you doing in a place like this?
We went because DH needed to go to the dentist. But now the dentist has moved to Bude so no need really...

BigBadMouse · 05/02/2008 12:36

Of course you aren't Moljam . No one else near me is allowed another baby after DC3 is born in May or I shall get broody and want more . The house is bursting at the seams as it is.

Next time you see Lucy, please pass on my thanks for the nappies. It was a quick pick up as I parked on the road outside and I felt guilty just grabbing the nappies and going. Her DCs looked very cute . I take it she isn't on MN then?

moljam · 06/02/2008 10:25

i didnt know your pregnant!!!!congratulations!!!i find it hard seing new babies!we were told not to by various doctors and family planning clinic people-i got really down about it and hv (who said she knew mums who had 4 sections or more)told me to see consultant.consultant looked at notes and said ok and i suppose he does op not gp.still scary though so thats why were just thinking about it!

lucy is lovely(and her dc are lovely too)i dont think she mns.

Hi all, can I invite you to make comments on my new blog

I know some schools in Cornwall have already closed, eg Lanreath near Polperro. I find it very worrying, and would appreciate any thoughts!

Fubsy · 08/02/2008 11:21
