Hi all. I have friends in Middlesbrough. I am from Redcar but live in Harrogate now.

roisin · 30/12/2004 13:00

That's helpful, thanks amylou! I was thinking of signing them both up to do a couple of kids club sessions, so that's great. We are hoping to do some outdoorsy things too if the weather's up to it ..?! Middle of January!!!

hi juniper and everyone, have been lurking tonight as was going to abstaine but saw this thread !
we went to oasis in september with dd 17 months at time and we loved it, i would say however if you have got the info on little activities, id book them now!, same go's for aquasana as we missed out on loads and i couldnt get any treatment at all when we got there(might be different when you go?)
we stayed quite far out, so didnt go out after dark(and by dark, i mean dark!!!would advise a torch, even just for use in villa as our electric went off in middle of night..no baby monitir working, freezer off.never known pitch black like it..v.scary!!
however..beautiful place, we were going to go this month but dp just got back inot work, so hoping to go in summer again..if anyone hasnt booked yet, badgerwood is a nice position..close to lakeside inn and main centre and they were just refurbing most of the 2,3 &4 beds out when we were there, but our villa was really lovely anyway.
youll love it!

if people want to meet up in new year, id be happy to do that, if its easy for you to get to mbro juniper, we could meet somewhere for lunch in town during week(sorry, im sahm, think everyone in same boat?)
anyway, nice to hear from you all, take care

hi mrsmiawallace. I agree about badger wood, we stayed there in June, right opposite the pub

I'd love to meet up sometime, would have to bring DS2 with me as he's in pre school mornings only.

Of course if everyone else is working we'll have to have a re think but I'm a SAHM too.

mrsmiawallace · 01/01/2005 21:47

hi juniper..firstly..Happy New Year!wish you lots of happiness this year!
i would be bringing dd too as i dont have the luxury of babysitters{smile], how old is he?
theres a place in stockton town centre thats supposed to be great for kids?so if anyone wants, we could arrange to meeet there(will have to find out info on place?)better for kiddies than a pub lunch..we can do that afterwards
