Just to say I had a great time and I am glad a cambridge meet-up finally happened. Caribbeanqueen - oh ye of little faith! I am looking forward to the next one - which you are welcome to come to house for. We have a lack of chairs but lots of toys and coffee/tea/biscuits!

sorry i couldnt get there...got called into a meeting to say we are making 70% of our staff redundant....merry xmas!! wasn't exactly the best time to say i needed to go and have a muffin in starbucks with you all!! I will follow the thread and definitely be around for the next meet...

hi all, well i still dont know if i am part of the redundancy massacre yet...its the waiting, rumours and scaremongering thats getting me down...does anyone know for sure if they can make you redundant whilst on maternity?

fenchick, i'm not sure but i would think it highly unlikely they will be able to without getting into loads of problems legally. what terrible timing :(

Hi Ladies I have just joined this site and would love to join in with you all.I am mummy to 3 boys my youngest is 9wks old.I am married and a stay home mum.Im 23 yrs old and dont really know anyone with children so it would be great to get to know anyone with children or a new baby.
