May 07 Xmas Meet up/Cam Farewell Party

Thought it best to start a thread so people can 'sign up'.

Name and Location would be good so that we can find a 'middle' area.

Will sort out date and time once we know where the meet up is.

Is my original suggestion any good? here? Maybe its too expensive but possibly we could go as a group and get a cheaper entry price? Otherwise Oxford and Reading are both manageable for me

April, what about the birdy place near to you? Just a suggestion it seems that area is fairly central and not too difficult from London????

Bird World is Farnham, Surrey way but it is £12 per adult! Kids under 3 are free.

Cam that place looks ok. Could work if we book a group. There are more than 20 of us......

SOH, if we have it in Norfolk then LG&T cant go, and neither can Cam..... we need them there. You can come and stay with us - i have a lovely garden, fit for a tent. Might even let you have electrical hook up If it gets really cold then i have a nice garage

SOH any chance we can tag the meet-up onto the end of your LG&T adventure visit? Then we can all avoid go to Norfolk next time Better still you can all come to Kenya next time.

Am descending upon LG&T a week today so next weekend could be a goer?

AM, DH likes garages, fulfils his need to tinker. We'll stay in a youth hostel if needs be.

oh oh oh - dd has a birthday party to go to on the sat, are we talking about the saturday? We have an inset day on the Friday and are off all day... Maybe I just don't let her go to the party, I'm sure if I offer her a superduper day out instead she could be persuaded Would that be terribly selfish of me?

Would have loved to have come but going to Liverpool for a couple of nights on Friday visiting DPs rellies. Maybe next time.

You'll have to meet somewhere on the coast so that I can float past in my boat no bigger than your hand as I pootle my way up to the Night Garden.

Ok? I will have cake and tea, the big kids ( i know there are not many) can go out and climb trees with my feral adorable lot. The babies ( if not up to tree climbing) can watch us eat cake

...and there's me just having persuaded dd to drop her party with the temptation of the animal park. Sure I could work on her though if I say we are going to do some boats instead and pop across to do some sight seeing after being at yours
