Well, I'm here anyway

How're you getting on now the kids are back at school?

When does little ds start playgroup/nursery?

My ds goes in January!

laloop · 15/09/2007 16:46

Hiya!!
Was great to get kids back to school, think they'd got fed up with the rain this summer and were glad to see their wee chums again. Although sod's law that weather's changed now since they went back, today's been lovely. Ds2 won't start nursery school until next sept but thinking of getting him into a playgroup after Xmas. Only problem is that he has nooooo interest in potty-training at the moment. HELP!

Not long until TakeThat now [smile

Rosyspookily · 14/10/2007 22:18

Hi! I should be jumping up and down to take that right now, but I let my ticket go because I wasn't ready to leave my baby and I'm not well anyway so I'm in a right grump sigh.

boolepew · 14/10/2007 22:25

Ooohh, I only knew Fireflyfairy2 was local. I'm in Co.Down, Newtownards. Friend went to see TT with 2 dd and dh- really didn't want to, but he seemed to cheer up at the scantily clad young ladies

Fireflyfairy2 · 14/10/2007 22:27

Aw Roselily I remember you getting yours! [You're the same Roselily as went to Stormont aren't you?] or am I wrong?

It was a great show last time, I felt I got my moneys worth so I'm sure you will all have a fabulous night.

Fireflyfairy2 · 14/10/2007 22:47

Aw the last time they were on that raised stage right above our heads doing the medley in the purple jackets!! WooW! It was fab!

I can't wait!!!!!!

I'm going to record some of it on my phone for my elder sisters as this is the first one they will have missed!!

I have 2 sisters who are classroom assistants & one is on strike & the other isn't.

The one who isn't striking isn't part of a union & she is in a secondary school.

The other is a member of NIPSA & they are not very impressed with this carry on. She doesn't want to strike None of the CA's are her school want to strike but seemingly as part of the union they have to.

Your poor son, is he all confused with the break in his routine?

Ach, it's not fair on the poor children

I was listening to Stephen Nolan the other morning & he was interviewing some parents & classroom assistants.

I mean, I can that the CA's need more pay, but it's just so unfair on the kids.

Fireflyfairy2 · 15/10/2007 11:05

jilly78 · 15/10/2007 14:51

oops, my computer froze and i ended up sending that twice. silly me

MyboysConnorandMark · 15/10/2007 20:11

Hi Jilly78

works going fine, I'm doing sporadic days at the moment, but will start doing every morning from next week. Leaves all the afternoons for some fun.

We are in Carrowdore, so about 10 minutes from Bangor. A lot of the in-lays are over Bangor way so I'm resonably familiar with it.

So if you would like to meet up some afternoon that would be great. I am open to suggestions regarding a meeting place, probably depends on weather, kids ages etc. (mine are 2 & 4).

Let me know what you thin, any suggestions welcome.

jilly78 · 16/10/2007 08:49

hi myboysconnorandmark dont know if you've been but the new play cafe in ards is quite good. its £4 for an hours play. afternoons would suit me better to, as hubby works till 2 and i dont drive so he always takes us there. my kids are 2 and 6 months. let me know what u think, or if you have somewhere else in mind.
