I've just realised that although I will have to get up the next day to take dd to school, as I walk I won't have to worry any more that I might be over the limit. You girls are a bad influence me, you know.

Ah, of course, little Surfer is at school. . How did she get on?

She started today. I managed to get there on time, so that's one star on my reward chart. But what I didn't expect was to be sobbing all the way home! Took me completely by surprise. I've been really looking forward to her starting, so get a bit more time to get stuff done.

You'll be surprised how quickly the time will go. It's never enough!! Enjoy the time to yourself. I remember the day dd2 started school and dd1 was already at primary school, I booked myself a pampering at the hairdressers. Was very nice, in fact, I must try and do that again soon.

Now all I need to find is some PJs that look like trousers and I can pop on a coat and take her to school without getting dressed .

I'll be sorted the morning after meet ups then, as I do have a tendency to fall into bed fully clothed and incapable of taking them off. Was it after the last meet up when I woke up and still had my boots on, with my feet sticking out of the side of the bed.

Sadly though I can't actually see the school from my window. It is, however, only 4 minutes walk. I timed it gate to gate so I knew how much time to allow.
